SCC's Director of International Student Programs Visited Max Education's Irvine Office
On August 29, 2024, Ms. Jetza Torres, Director of International Student Programs of SCC (Santiago Canyon College) and Ms. Bella Hao, SCC's International Admission Representative East and Southeast Asia, visited the Max Education's Irvine Office. Santiago Canyon College has been named among the Best Community Colleges in California higher education resource guide, Intelligent.com, releases the best community colleges for 2024.
With more than 30,000 students enrolled in the 2022-2023 academic year, SCC offers a vibrant student life – championship athletic teams, student government, clubs and other leadership and enrichment opportunities such as Model United Nations and Forensics. Currently, SCC has the collaboration of transfer alliance program with 52 schools across the U.S. and priority consideration is given based on completion of SCC’s Honor’s Program to help students get into their desired colleges and universities. Ms. Jetza said that with several years of collaboration with Max Education, SCC has continued to refine its enrollment in terms of quality and quantity, and that they are committed to providing an even better learning atmosphere, a rich variety of extracurricular activities, and academic support for their students.
During the meeting with Ms. Lin Ling, Ms. Jetza also explained in detail the tips for parents and students to transfer from SCC to top universities such as UCLA and UC Berkley, which will provide a clearer direction for Meifeng's students to pursue their studies, and at the same time, Ms. Bella will cooperate with Meifeng's Beijing office in China.
